Design code: PBZ-1656-N

Handcrafted in sterling silver with genuine hand-painted miniature paintings/artworks enclosed between a silver plate and a glass front.

In our design choices, we tend to lean towards the classic and the timeless- but with modern simplicity. This necklace, is, therefore, very us. And we suspect it is very you too. Subtle elegance, clean lines, and exquisite attention to detail.

Koel, being familiar birds with loud calls, find references in Indian folklore, myth, and poetry. The graceful rendition of the bird, in this necklace, in Mughal miniature style, makes it as much a piece of art as a jewelry piece.

Super-versatile- wear it solo, layer it up with other necklaces, or complement it with similarly detailed jewelry from this collection. Special enough to make a fabulous gift!

Dimensions: (of the oval Koel pendant- including the loop/bale and the design element on top of it) 6 cms long and 3 cms at the widest. The total length of necklace end to end: 17" (including lobster clasp) with an additional 1.5" extension chain.

In a quaint home-cum-studio in Rajasthan, each miniature is deftly painted, using centuries-old techniques. Please allow for minor variations in the artwork and color, in keeping with their hand-painted nature.
